I have a leather and Zoa and also a Rainbow BTA, light is mostly blues with lite UV and lite white light. I know its some nutrient issue cause i also have an algae issue, i just dont know which cuz my nitrates and phosphates are good, no ammonia either.Yes unfortunately. More important question is why. How long have you had it? Tank parameters, light level etc. Looks like some sand possibly on it which will irritate it too. You mention other corals. What kind? Photos of them and the tank?
test with a reef kit, was in "ok zone" don't remember exactly now, salinity is ≈ 1.025-1.026 and i do have flow, not enough i guess to move the sand, but my leather opens and so does my BTA and GAP, but for some reason my zoas dont open either, disposed of the acan unfortunately.what are you calling "good" for your nitrates and phospate? actual values and method of measurement....
Temp?
salinity?
is there "flow" in your tank? what kind of water movement do you have? it almost looks like debris just sitting on the bottom of the tank but perhaps thats just the picture resolution.
Other corals are "fine", .... are they growing?
