Help!!!!

is the rock uncured? if it is a new setup, with no skimmer and the tank hasnt cycled and the rock is frsh you can get alot of bubles, your water discharge can act like a skimmer, and cause alot of foam due to the high nutrient levels. just an idea

no sand.....yes added rubble that cycled in another tub.

My suggestion is play the patience card, DO NOT plumb it into the main tank yet. let it run for awhile, tomorrow get some carbon and run it on the tank for awhile, get a bottle of prime and treat it. dont plumb it in till you know there is nothing going on, but im sure it is fine, just needs to settle in

add a pair of hose full of carbon in a high flow area. That should work in adding carbon, if nothing is living in this tank then I would just let patience be the best antidote.

Just to clarify alex means PANTY hose. LOL! but you basically have two options, add a filter bag full or panty hose full of carbon is an area that has good flow (not very efficient but works) best option is a phosban reactor or similiar flow through media chamber full of carbon.
