Hi all

So this is not my first rodeo but I'm haveing a real issue with this 36g tank I'm tring to set up a softies tank so i have some zoes some dusters a plate and i just put 2 xenia in now a little backgroung these are the 4 and 5 xenia to go in this tank they keep sucking in tuen black and die the guy at fish store says it's the flow and light i think he's wacked when i got these it took 2 days to get them in main tank so they where in my quarantine tank and they where great put in main tank they shrivaled up the difference between the tanks quarantine is filthy with low light no flow main tank zeros across the board on nutrient good led lighting and 6 powerheads the xenia are in mod to medium flow do i need to dirty my tank or what

Your all 0's if they truly are 0, is the reason why GSP is dieing on you. Corals need nutrients, not 0's.

6 Powerheads in 36G bowfront? Might be way to much flow also lol.

My old tank was a 30 and many more under that. you do not need that many powerheads for sure.
Know it's not your first rodeo, BUT
Have you tested your tank for metals? (check magnets for rusting or leaching)
what are your parameters including SG
Lights?
How long has the tank been up and running?

My old tank was a 30 and many more under that. you do not need that many powerheads for sure.
Know it's not your first rodeo, BUT
Have you tested your tank for metals? (check magnets for rusting or leaching)
what are your parameters including SG
Lights?
How long has the tank been up and running?
Tank is about 6 to 7 months par throuhg most of tank is about 95 salinity 1.024 no metals in tank nothing to leach into tank run uv star all the time and skimmer all the timealk 9.3 mag and stuff in par only thing not sure of is iodine

Iodine is not something to worry about. Traces are added with Water changes.
I would honestly look at getting an ICP test done to see what your saying is actually in line with what’s going on in the tank.
Are you noticing anything else dead besides the Xenia.
