I have an emperor clown fish that has been in my 75g tank for over 1 year. 20 minutes ago it was laying on the sand bed, having a hard time swimming, and could barley swim. Now it is in an anenome that it hosts, there is another clown in the tank. Could it be gettin ready to lay eggs? water parameters: ammonia:0 nitrate:5 ph:8.3 salinity:1.024 phosphate:0.07 alkalinity:9.3 calcium:500 magnesium:1500 Any help would be amazing.

More info & pics might help. Doesn’t sound good based on your description.
I assume you’ve tested for ammonia, nitrites, salinity, temp, PH? Results? The tank is well oxygenated? Any additives or medications added to the tank?
