Need help from electrician or good diy.

Have two lights from my APIS-60 scrubber. They turn on for a brief second and then shutoff. I have to unplug it, wait 5 mins, and try again. Sometimes it works for several hours but then will stop working again. Problem exist in both lights.

FourSquare told me to change out the fuse and I ordered some new ones but if the fuse was blown, why would the lights work momentarily.

They also had me check if anything was loose in the case which might cause a short. Looks clean. Lights are only a few months old.

Any ideas?

I’ve taken them off the scrubber and just turne them on in an outlet to diagnose. Both turn on for a split second and then off. Indo this individual as both are on separate plugs.

If they are separate, something is causing both power supplies to think that they need to turn off. My first guess would be salt spray buildup in the LEDs, which would cause a short as soon as it powers up.

Zero salt in the lights. Disassembled them and it’s clean, dry and looks new.

Sounds like driver failure. How old are the lights? Oh yea a few months old.

Only a few months old ..warranty issue. Don't mess with em, get them replaced.

Tried multiple outlets. One in kitchen and one in office. Same issue
