I am getting alot of sump nosie from line coming from overflow to sump should I run a piece of air line down from top or install a gate valve. I am using Herbie stand pipe. Spent alot of money with the hopes of making this very quiet nothing but DC pumps and the overflow is unbearable. Thanks for input.

Is there a gate valve on It now? Also does your return line end below your water line in your sump?

If you don't have a valve than you need to grab one, adjusting the siphon is the best way to eliminate noise, just make sure to plumb the outlet below the water line in the sump when you add the valve in. Once you add the valve you should be good to go:)

This was my setup but the bulk heads where leaking too bad due to the sump not lining up and I can't move it around so I had to go to braded hose.

I didn't clamp nothing down yet but it will quiet it down but can't really seem to tune the flow I am having to almost shut the valve off which scares me
