I personally call Chaeto Cheeto, on purpose just for fun. Of course you are correct on the Sicce thing....I hear that mispronounced all the time.

Of course the Brits say Al-Gee not algae as westerners do.

Anacropora...might as well be Acropora.
The amount of times I recommend “Anacropora” and have to specify it’s Anacropora and not AN Acropora… it’s at the point I call them Acros and Anacropora to differentiate the two.

As for Algae, I pronounce it “Al-gey” with more emphasis on A than the G.

Must admit my childhood tank had Chick Lids in it! I was also never sure if my reef 30 years ago had Metal Hal Id's or Hail Id's?
