So I've noticed my hermit and snails shells turning white. Two hermit crabs look like they have holes in their shells too. Any ideas what causing this?
PH is 8.2
Calcium is 420
All is 11
I've had all these for a month. I've also noticed the snails seem to be still during the day.

What kind of snails?
If they used to be coralline, it may be bleaching? Or your other critters are doing a great job cleaning?

Turbo snails and blue/red leg hermits. They all seem to be cleaning still, snails mostly at night.

Hmm I can’t help with the turbos, it’s been a while since I’ve kept them but the hermits will be just fine as long as you give them alternate shells.

Thank you. I read it could be my PH but that seems fine too. Guess I'll wait and see if they pull through
