I added a fish :)

no name yet, I haven’t decided. He’s been just hanging out in the open but backed into the corner. Is he maybe just a little shy? I figured he would’ve darted for the rock to go hide or explore a little bit.

Tis my first goby, should I get him a pistol shrimp buddy?

For this species, yes. Get a candy cane pistol.
Congrats! Yashas are beautiful!

Update: lil guy jumped.

took me aback. Went all the way back to the drawing board. Inspected every square inch of the tank to figure out what it was that put him off so bad. Lack of space? Hiding places? Was my water off?

And then I saw it, the leaks in my tank. So there’s been an upgrade.

Thankfully the issues that arose were noticed before anything incredibly priceless went in there, but still unbelievably heartbroken over my yasha. I won’t quit though, even though I thought about it.

therefore behold, the new home for my crustaceans. And eventually a new fish.
