i don't see any resemblance to any picture online of that zoa.

Very nice! I'm thinking along the same lines as @ChiCity (do you still have your black rainbow)?
Its in that afterburner/el corazon, mind trick, rainbow vdm, dark templar, burning ember, maga hat, black rainbow family.
The afterburner/ el corazon have a green center and the skirt is usually red. The burning ember doesn't have that well-defined dark bands around the middle- its more of a purple/blue. Def not a mind trick, maga hat nor dark templar so that would leave rainbow vdms and black rainbow. With the black rainbows the skirts don't always consistently present so they might be more yellow or green depending. I haven't seen rainbow vdm's offered for some time. I think you're likely looking at that or black rainbow.

Looks like they probably are rainbow vdms, took another photo, and I started noticing some green on the tips!

@Reefs_r_salty thats likely the most correct ID. There are a couple different burning ember morphs floating around so I’d keep an eye out. At the end of the day you’ve got something good there.

Figured I'd revisit this briefly. The family of zoas that include burning embers, rainbow vdms, el corazon, black rainbows and others has been interesting me recently. I picked up a frag of burning embers from another r2r recently and found they looked a lot like the OP's pics. I've seen a few strains trading as burning recently, figured I'd share my pic.
Admittedly the angle isn't the best but it's in a trough.

I used to have elcorazons and they were the brightest zoa in my tank! I lost them when they fell off the plug and have been trying to replace them! I am so mad at myself because I did an auction last night that had some called after burners and they went for 12.50 but somehow I missed the bid! UUGGHH. I didnt realize they were basically the same or at least as brightness goes. I noticed they looked very bright though and thats why they were on my watchlsit!!!!
I also have someone who has been trying to sell me some burning embers for 100 a polyp! LOL! When I saw the afterburner i thought to myself those look like the ones the guy is asking 100 for! dang I dont know how I missed the bid! I was doing 2 auctions so must have been bidding on something else or got up for a minute! I have been kicking myself all day!!!
