Three weeks ago, some enthusiasts were at my home viewing the tank when this was happening with two snails. They thought that they were viewing a captive reef spawning.
It was a bit of a let down when I pointed out the snails [not coral] spewing.

Just to share some of the dark side too, I lost both my CB pink tip frag and my Rainbow loom frag in the last 2 weeks. This resulted from whatever I messed up with my alk a couple of weeks ago. These are the only total losses and this makes me believe even more that these are the same coral.

That is the incredible part of this hobby. When we make a mistake , we pay the consequences three weeks later. When I let something in my husbandry get away from me, I am on pins and needles for the next month. Just hoping I dodged a bullet.

Yeah, I think that is the hardest part when you can’t see any immediate positive reactions in the hobby so you don’t know if you corrected whatever the issue was. That’s why the stability thing is so important.

I participated in the WWC live sale and had a very low budget. Was able to snag a purple monster zoa and I picked up an ultimate stag from eBay. They should be in Thursday.

Live sales with limited budget and limited space in the tank makes for a tough day.

Looking good! Where did you get that Green BTA? I have never seen one end up looking that nice.

What's your favorite coral you own?
That’s a good question. Probably that pink one I named cloud. When it’s happy it is pink, blue and has gold polyps and a cool growth structure.

It’s just a tiny guy still but my SC OP is what I am most anxious to get colored up. Yours is jaw dropping.

I don’t really have many of the insane pieces. That’s why I like to drool over your thread.

You have a nice list of acros!
My SC OP was just okay for so long. I use to complain about the polyp color all the time but lately it just seems to be happy. I cut a frag off it the other day and I forgot it was on a plug and it had barely encrusted over the plug apparently and the whole thing got knocked. It might go back to being green again now, lol.
