Traded a few frags this weekend. Showed up a few min late and the guy had the frags in a clear Tupperware in ziplocks sitting on top of his truck in the Florida sun so I think they got a bit hot. They will take some time to color up but that’s the fun part. Crappy iPhone pics.

Are the pictures a close representation of the color in person? If so, are you still using the SB reef lights?
Appreciate you sharing.

Yeah. These are just iPhone with blues turned all the way down. No doctoring. I do have a single t5 along the back because I built my lid wrong.

I splurged and bought some new equipment. Got a couple brs dosers, an ato finally, a reservoir, dosing containers, digital refractometer, an icp test kit, a back up return pump, flipper algae scraper and some other random accessories and new power strips and timers to clean up my cord situation.

I also added a spotted hawk fish, Aiptasia eating filefish and a baby foxface.

So I had a rough transition from kalk to 2 part and spiked my alk a bit. Burned some tips and ticked off some montis.

Bought a small foxface, Aiptasia eating filefish and a small spotted hawk.

Have a couple tufts of hair algae that always grow on the same rock. I hoped the foxface would assist but it ultimately sleeps in it (no joke). The filefish munched on acros non stop so I returned it.

I bought 5 peppermint shrimp to go after the Aiptasia but the hawkfish went ahead and ate them.

The joys of reefkeeping.
