I just says "It comes with high performance LED lighting unit featuring RGB LEDs with the ability to allow each colour lights to be operated individually for amazing viewing pleasure."

I would want way more information on the included lights depending on what you're trying to use the tank for..... looks pricey, so I hope they didn't cheap out on the lights.

I was unable to open the link. Is this the tank you were referring to? https://www.swallowaquatics.co.uk/nile-aquarium-1500-black.html

EDIT: I just realized @Jarvisffc took care of the link already. Perhaps I should have read more closely. ;) Welcome to the team!

Don't see a pic of the actual tank, but if your heart desires it- by all means take the leap !!

I would 100% go with a red sea tank. They come with much more of the needed equipment, and IMO they look better.

If you go with the Nile 1500, then you will need a skimmer, filter socks, a return pump, powerheads, and heaters, along with lights.

Seems I can get this system over here as well.

Looks very nice, and for the price the same as this one it seems a no brainer:

Welcome to R2R! I'm not anywhere as close to starting my build as you are, but I admire the fact that you are open to suggestions and advice. I'm sure you know that patience will be the key. There are tons of places to do your research on the different types of coral and livestock as well as a number of good YouTube video channels to provide even more guidance. Good luck and I look forward to watching this build play out!

Just joined, hi all, from the UK, had tropical tank for 10 years and then sold it about 5 years ago, had the itch for a marine reef tank since then, now looking into all the options available.

Looking for a large tank,, found this in a local store, what are peoples thoughts on this as a starter and the equipment needed to be added to it please?

Welcome to R2R and the salty world Jarvis. Where in UK are you. Might help to widen your search and options. Lots of knowledgable and helpful people here who will support and advise you when needed.
