Hi guys, i'm Alessio from Italy. Lurked for a while and today i've decided to register and contribute if i can. Fairly new to aquarium in general et very new at reefing. Got in june a 30 liters tank for free, started it with fishless cycling (dosing ammonia and bacteria) got it started and when cycle was terminated (not with some hickups) i've decided to upgrade to a 70lt tank that i've got at good price. So i made the swap 3 days ago and tomorrow i will add my first salt water inhabitant. 3 nassarius 2 turbo 1 amboniensis.

checked last time tonight and water values seems ok a part from KH that i find a little low (7) but i've seen is still ok.

I like diy, i have a 3d printer that i have already found usefull also in this hobby and i am very bad at cable managing.

That's me. thanks for this forum, full of info very usefull.

Welcome! Glad you joined.

Have you considered starting your build thread? I found its a great place to document my tank's evolution for myself. I started tank first then joined, so I'm still finding myself going back collecting pictures & updating historically as well as current state. Once you create your first post in your thread and link it to your account, they will give you build badge (look left, under my ID)

This might help you find people local to you:

This is a good reference book type online article I still review:
