Had a 55 softy reef when I was about 13-14
Then brought that same 55 up to college and packed it full of LPS and softies. Was before cameras on cell phones so I didn't get as many pictures as I wanted but man that thing looked great at graduation. :)
Always figured that since I had a 55 before, and ran it successfully, that I would need to upgrade for my next tank and just didn't really have the space, time, or $$ for it. Wasn't until I was doing some youtubing late at night looking at nanos that I realized how far things have advanced and that I could have a pretty awesome tank without much of a hassle.
Really cool to see what's changed (for better or worse in some instances) ,and how far things have come in 10+ years. Lights, AIO tanks, powerheads, even corals.
Looking forward to putting this little fusion 20 (SPS mostly) together and getting ahead of some of the mistakes I've made in the past.
Never really done a build thread, but may start one up to log the journey.
Looking forward to it, and hope I can provide some value to the forum as well as learn from those that came before me.
