For me white would be a nightmare to keep clean.
I just let the back get covered in coralline. Its hard enough that I have to scrape coralline off the front glass of my systems daily.
Also in order to keep it clean you will need space between the rock and back wall.
An all white background would look cool if you could keep it clean.
