Hello I was told to post this question here. My hi-fin cardinal only eats the copepods that are in my tank. I have offered him frozen brine, mysis shrimp and marine cuisine foods with no luck. I have even added garlic extreme to the food with no help. I have had him for 3 weeks and I not sure how he can make it only eating those tiny little bugs. has anyone had this happen and will he ever eat other foods? THX

If it's not thin or sick and acting healthy then I wouldn't worry about it. If you see signs of distress then I'd worry but there wouldn't be much you could do to get it to feed other than what you've already done.

there mysis shrimp harvested from glacial lakes in canada. pe stands for piscine energetics

Try some Nutramar Ova. They are prawn eggs. I haven't met a fish yet who turns it down, Including my Mandarin :) You can get it at DFS

I think that is what I will buy today ( nutrama ova ) I hope it works they are not cheap! I also tried these tiny pallets that my shrimp and crabs eat, he seemed to eat 2 on his first day in the tank then it all stopped. all he eats is those dam bugs...
