Looks like an encrusting coral but i don't entirely know

it does have little arms or feeders sticking off of the body of whatever it is. It doesn't really look like a toadstool now unless they change shape as they get bigger.

+1 on a toadstool. It's probably the remnants of a foot from a colony that was removed. As it gets larger, it should grow the typical stalk.

ty thats what i was wondering. also there are some bristle worms in some of the rock. there were two pieces that came out of the same tank and they both have worms is this something that i should be supper concerned with?
