Hey everyone, just wanted to introduce myself; My name is Andrew and I'm a reef-a-holic lol. Seriously though, I have been in and out of the hobby for some time and just got back into it with a vengeance about a year and a half ago. So much has changed since my several year hiatus. My last tanks I tore down before I moved was a 150G mixed reef and a 90G mostly fish with some softies and clams. The 150 was lit by T5s which were just getting popular at the time and the Hex was lit by metal halide. LEDs were just getting main-stream in aquaculture and horticulture alike and I remember thinking the hobby would never be the same (boy was I right). Anyway, I don't have anything big and spectacular (yet). I currently have 5 systems running but all are small/nano sized sw tanks except the 150G planted FW in the lobby of my work.

My prize tank is this Red Sea Max Nano that sits behind my desk next to my chair in my office. I will add progress pictures to show how it got here (it turns 6 months in 4 days) and will keep updates over time. I got the tank as a present from my girlfriend (I know, she's a keeper) It was a move from a 6 month old biocube, so the biological age is actually about 14 months.

Goal:
It is going to have a couple nice SPS (WD, Voodoo Majick, ASD Rainbow mili) up top/mid and a mid-high end zoa farm on the bottom. I am still collecting, encrusting, and g the pieces I want before I glue anything and make it permanent. I would also like to have the back wall encrusted in something (I have a seven heavens monti and a rainbow monti frag)

Current livestock is a pair of black ice snowflakes and a blue mandarin dragonet. The mandarin is fed well and the pod population repopulates quick enough even in this small tank for him to thrive. (The back chambers are completely infested and the rock work had plenty of places the fish cannot fit but the pods can populate. I have not had to add any since I got him in early Feb. but my other systems are infested and each have proper refugium so I have a supply if I did notice him thinning out.

I apologize for the iPhone pictures, most are taken with the aquarium camera app and most have the gel filter. I do have a DSLR and Macro lens that I will be getting together especially since I have grown out some nice Zoas to potentially trade/sell.

My view from my chair at my desk.

Thank you so much! I appreciate the compliments, the two on the right side of the tank just split on the 5th! Sorry for such heavily saturated pics (my amateur photography is a work in progress lol)
