Hi my wife and I are new to the marine fish world, we would dearly love any advice you could give. At the moment we have a hexagonal 68g tank and some really nice sea rock! Like I said we are beginners lol. We need to know what sort of kit we need to buy for this tank the dims are 24" high 26" wide 23" deep. We are looking to keep everything external where we can. Many thanks guys

Welcome to R2R!!! Be sure to ask lots of questions and be patient. As far as test kits go I would get ammonia and nitrate kits to make sure your tank is cycled and ready for live stock. Once cycled if you plan to keep corals I would look into a decent set of kits to include calcium, alkalinity and magnesium.

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
