I’m so focused on my tank and how I want lay my design I have not decided. What would you recommend for newbie?
Zoanthids, the euphyllia family, and acans are all pretty easy to keep! I suggest waiting on the euphyllia though because there is currently a ban on Indonesia exporting coral (where we get beautiful euphyllia, especially torches) that is about to be lifted and will drop the prices exponentially. Euphyllia and acans are both stony corals so they do require a bit of testing but nothing crazy. For zoas, make sure to avoid wild caught zoas unless you plan on dipping them ( wild zoa rocks are known for carrying pests). Also welcome to r2r! I think it’s safe to say that the community and I are all excited to see how your first build turns out! :)

Hey Terrell,

Welcome to R2R! I’m sure you’ll continue to find helpful advice, suggestions, and learn until you can’t learn anymore. Don’t forget to create a build thread in the Member Tanks section to get your Build Thread Contributor badge. :)
