Been lurking for a while, about to build out my first Reef Tank so thought I'd join and start posting.

I live in Bellevue, WA and I work in the Video Game Industry as a Software Engineer/Architect. I'm brand spanking new to the hobby - I guess I'm not even technically started yet since the tank doesn't show up until Thursday - but I'm hoping it will be an interesting adventure and one my young kids enjoy experiencing as they get older.

Welcome to Reef2Reef! I'm in a similar situation, I have a 30 gal FOWLR and am in the very early stages of planning an upgrade. There is so much helpful information on here (I lurked around for a couple of years before joining) as I'm sure you know. I'm enjoying being more involved. I hope you start a build thread. Welcome to R2R! I started my first freshwater tank when my kids were 3 years old. I have always at at least one tank in operation since then (and as many as four). It has been a great experience, and continues to be for my grandchildren now. I look forward to your reefing adventure! ;Joyful
