I really love your stand and hood. Did you build it too?
I use two 44 Gallon Brutes for AWS and ATO water. One is in each side of my tank. I put a round glass top on them and cover them with round table cloths. Put plants, a reading light, or a vase on top and they just look like tall end tables or plant stands.

Yes, and thank you. There is a build series on youtube that shows what went into it...but it's a complex build, and a long way from a DIY.
The side cabinets are made of "off the shelf" materials, and the build series on those is a DIY series. I am a few weeks away from publishing that series, but it's on the way.
The idea was to show that you can build a quality piece if you have a few wood working tools, and a weekend to dedicate to it.

I had the same problem trying to hide my 6.5 gal ATO reservoir jug. I built a narrow stand around it and used it as an excuse to add a pico tank next to the main haha. Stand was built from a discarded Ikea cabinet.
