As mentioned above I suspect your salinity is off. Something else to check - your Mag level, just a thought.

Was able to do a full parameter test.

Salinity: 35ppt
Calc:425ppm
Mg:1300
Alk:5.8dKH
Nitrate: 4ppm

Not sure how the alk is so out of line since I am dosing Kalk. I used pure RODI water for the past 3 days to get max pH to 8.4. Should I add some sodium bicarbonate to get the alk up?? How could it be so far off

Measured 6.3 with Hanna checker and approximately 6.7 with Red Sea. At what point should I be concerned with the pH max?
Mine reads the same exact thing with Hanna. It measures total DKH not just bi- carbonates or just borate because it’s more difficult to measure those I’m told. I have high ph too. 8.6 and my dkh is low. 6.4. Just set up a Red Sea doser2

I currently run my pH with a max of 8.75. Alk around 8-8.3. No issues and have heard others getting the same range
