My tank over 2 years old, always on that high phosphate range 0.26-0.40 i tested today its at 0.40ppm. Nitrate stable at 7.6. I do awc 1% a day. Tank is 150G everything is happy. Just not sure if keeping that phosphate number long term is risky for my corals.

I run redsea roller mat 1200. And reef octopus 200 int skimmer.

Any recommendation how to power phosphate? Without nitrate.

Several binders will remove phosphate: GFO, lanthanum, and aluminum oxide.

Or you can dose N and use a balanced method like macroalgae or an ats.

Should i increase awc from 1% to 2%?

Water changes generally are not a good way to reduce phosphate because of the phosphate bound to rock and sand. Even a 100% change won’t eliminate it.
