Some of my coral have been closed up, I check my phosphates and they were at .52 with Hanna checker. What is the quickest way to reduce phosphates? I just did a 50% water change and dosed waste away. Now at at .37

Thanks

Your corals may be not closed because of high phosphate. What are your other parameters? Make sure to lower phosphate slowly and not introduce too much change at once.

You might consider using Lanthanum chloride ( do some research how to do it if you decide) and then if your phosphates keep raising up, I would use GFO in media reactor or/and refiugium.
As others noted, lower phosphates slowly and never to 0.
