SCIENTIFIC NAME -Coradion altivelis

COMMON NAME -Highfin Coralfish

SIZE - 5.9"(15 cm)

MIN. AQUARIUM SIZE- 75 US Gal. (284 L)

FOODS AND FEEDING– The Highfin Coralfish feeds on colonial ascidians, sponges, and hydroids.

REEFCOMPATIBILITY - With caution, may nip stony corals and some soft corals such as Xeniids.

CAPTIVE CARE –This species acclimates well to captive care and will accept a varied diet of aquarium marine fare for carnivores and herbivores. It should be kept with peaceful tank mates until acclimated and a pair can be kept in a larger tank. Provide plenty of swimming room and an established reef structure with sponges and small crustaceans. Prefers temps in the range of 72-81 F (22-27C).
