Highlight cloves still wont open

Hey everyone. So i had a frag of highlight cloves in the past, first couple weeks went well but i did not glue it down, and after it fell it never really recovered and melted away. So i got a new frag, in the sand it didnt open, put it higher and still wouldnt open HOWEVER to be fair, i did not glue it and it also fell, twice. So i finaly glued it to this lower rock yesterday evening. Its been a week and it never even attempted to open a single polyp. Any advice?

Light- fluval sea marine 3.0 25k 59 watt.
Amm-0
Nitrite-0
Nitrate - 0-5 (api kit) so not the most reliable.
Ph 8.4
Alk-10 .had a swing from dosing... was at 7 a week ago..
Cal-480
Mag -1500+ battled algea problem.

They melted... could have been a shock from my alk. Being 11 or just after they fell they gave out. Second highlight clove frag... im taking it a sign lol
