Well tank is still not clear,
I'm about to do a large water change to see if I can clear this thing up.
Very frustrating.

So I think my tank has cycled it self already. Even tho its only been two weeks.

I used my recycled water from my 90 reef and that water was clean orp was 180 no nit or phos. And with doing the water changes with that old water the tank has cleared up really fast. With the rock in it as well everything seems to be looking good.
I got the light bulbs changed out to day and I like the look...

So I will test my water again but I think I will add a clean up crew Thursday.
After that I will start to add pods and cheatos.

Woo woo my tank is clean and clear. I have added tiger pods and cheato to the tank and are doing great next week I will be adding a handful of chromis and see how they do it they live for a week then I will take them out and place my order for my seahorses

Sounds great!! Do you know where you are going to order your seahorses from?

Not yet one of the local pet stores told me they can get me sme of the crazy colorful Brazilian seahorses.
" he told me like the orange ones and green" idk if I believe him but well see.

They will change color when they get settled in your tank anyway... Don't pay extra for pretty colors. Seahorses are the chameleons of the sea.

I love it I can't wait to toss some zoas in. I have a frag of some lower end ones that I am willing to test with.

I think I might put one other fish in there. And it would be a tang....

My wife ok'ed me to buy a gem tang... Not the hunt begins

Here is something i have learned from a freind of mine if you put plastic over the sand and then add water and then slowlly remove the plastic you will have almost now cloudyness in the water everything looks great keep up the good work and be patient:frusty:

It took a few water changes and some really fine filter socks but its there.
I tossed a zoas in and with in 10 mins opened up.
Tomorrow I add a clean up crew, snails hermit crabs maybe an emerald crab...

So I tossed two zoas in today lower end stuff. And they opened right up with in 10 mins.
I did a large water change today as well about 25 gallons so 30%
Stuff is looking good. Tomorrow clean up crew then some fish!

Hopefully a gem if I find one soon!!!

So there was a slit mix up. I ordered my gem tang from my local pet store.
He thought I wanted the seahorses as well... So he picked them up for me.
Nice looking seahorses but man I was not ready for them...
I put them in my zoas tank....with the 10 mangroves and they love swimming from seed to seed.
I cut a lot of my nice zoas last night and they are healing in the 90 once they are good I will make the transfer....

My zoas garden is about to take off...

All horses are eatting I have feed three times today and they all have eaten at some point today.
Very excited.

I woke up this morning at 530 to make sure my gem tang was alive.
While I was up I check on my seahorses.
It was so awesome 4 of them were on one mangrove and two on the others just peacefully sleeping.

Gave them a little food and still eating really strong.
