Hitch hiker on Lobo base

I bought a Lobo that came with something on the base that is putting out a "fishing line" I expect for feeding. Not from the Lobo itself. I don't have a picture of where it's coming from, but the line is out pretty regularly. What might it be? I don't want to dislodge the Lobo to get a look or photo if it's not hurting anything.

Vermatid snail most likely. Pull that coral out, look for the vermatid small tube and cover it in super glue. Some species can multiply quickly
