Tank will be 130" x 36" x 30"
125 gallon tank is being built into a diy refugium/sump
2"x 4" rectangular tube 1/4" wall will be used to build the stand. All metal is being delivered Monday to start cutting and welding hopefully next week if my work schedule allows.

My 75 gallon holding tank has a good start.
The wife has picked almost everything so far.
Here's what we have so far between the holding tank and the reef tank that will move into the new tank.
1 Niger Trigger
1 Huma Picasso Trigger
2 Panther Groupers
1 Green Spot Puffer
1 6 line wrasse
1 Emperor Angel
2 Naso Vlamingii Tangs
1 Snowflake Eel
1 Dwarf Lion
1 Marine Beta
1 Sailfin Tang

This months order plan and QT:
1 Majestic Angel
1 Queen Angel
1 Regal Angel
1 Broomtail Wrasse

I know I'm missing a few and will fill in the wife's wish list as she tells me lol.
This will be our first time ever having the first 3 Angels on our to order list as well as our first eel.

Here is a short video of the 75 gallon holding tank. Please disregard the algae as I was a bad fish keeper and over feed the tank and preformed zero maintenance over the holidays. 40 gallon water change , carbon and GFO media replacement are on the adgenda tomorrow.

There is nothing I like better than a baby panther grouper. I wish they stayed looking like that as adults or that there was a dwarf version. I also wish I had enough space for a tank large enough to keep one again. Consider me jealous.

Did the lion and eel eat everything?:p
Sorry for the long delay. Sadly both the Lion and Eel passed. I tried every food frozen and live I was able to get and they never even should interest in eating.
Build is going much slower then planned as I have been traveling a lot more then normal. 75 gallon holding tank has been upgraded to a 125 though.
In the last few months there have been several additions.
Pearlscale Butterfly, Tomi Tang, Yellow Eye Kole Tang, 2 more Vlamingi Tangs, 2 more Niger Triggers, Clown Trigger ( passed in QT no clue why ). Today we added one of the Angels from the list into QT! The wife’s mother’s day gift arrived today. What I consider the holy grail of Angels the Queen Angel. I’ll add the shops photo for now as I just let her lose in QT and the lights are to dim to take a picture. This is the actual one I got as they ordered it in for me. She had a lot of attention there but they all where told she was sold. Lol

Following, your building my dream tank! ;)
Can't wait to see the broomtail wrasse!
My guy is having a hard time finding a good one. The 2 he has found didn’t make the trip to him before passing. One was do to ups we think as the boxed looked like someone used it as a stool. ;Rage

Such an amazing fish, def in my top 3 imo. Wish you luck on getting a healthy one! Are they usually rough to trip or was it bad luck?
Seems like just bad luck. I'm wanting a small one which is hard to get in itself as they go fast.

Just heard the tank will be built and on its way in 3 weeks. I so want to drive to Texas and pick it up once it's done but I have no way to unload it lol I guess I better get moving on the stand. Kinda a win win as the wife has been on my to get all the metal tubes out of her way in the garage lol

Well the Tomi Tang was found floating tonight sadly. No reason why that I saw. He was eating just fine and swimming around this afternoon. Guess I need to get another one on order to get into QT.

Sorry for the tomani, I tried to keep one but it didnt survive long aswell. Pretty sure stress was too much for it to handle from the slightly bigger panther grouper.

He was in a 100 gallon QT with a Queen Angel ( 2-1/2” ) 2 Niger Triggers ( 3” ish each ) a Huma Huma Trigger ( 3” ish ) and a Yellow Eye Kole Tang ( 3” ish ) the only thing I can think is the Queen Angel stressed it out as juveniles they pick at fish looking for parasites eating what if any parasites they find. I’ve watched her do it to the triggers which freaks them out lol.
