If it's the one that i'm seeing, it looks more like fighting marks. #reefsquad check out this video though, its pretty cool!

i think you are talking about 5 or 6. but not sure. Still i see only marking but not HLLE. hard to see though. maybe others can see better.

IMO 5th is fight marks
6th is hard to say its so evenly 2 tuned i cant really say for sure.

Looked more like scarring of some sort to me as well - seemed there was something similar on a wrasse in the scene with the hawksbill turtle.

Didn't mind watching the film a couple of times through though ... gorgeous!

With as many of these critters we're familiar with, it's a nice reminder that they're just a fraction of the diversity that's out there on the reef.

I can't see for sure, but the guy at 1:27 looks like he might have early hair loss and dangerous thickening of the midsection that could lead to stroke. Somebody get him a tee-shirt.

It looks like pigment loss or aberant coloring to me. There is no decay of the later line that I can see.
