What do I have here? I'm hoping it's not briopsis. It is a dark green color and looks pretty dense. Thanks for the help!

Could be turf algae. Which is kinda like gha but tends to stay shorter and is way tough. Kind of wirey in texture.

Turf algae and a little hair algae.
Your best defense will be reduction of white lights or turning them off all together for 7-10 days and addition of fluconasal (flux).
Check your phosphates and nitrates for elevated levels.

Thanks for the replies! My phosphates have been 0.01-0.03. Nitrates about 10. Yes I will try reducing my white lights. Should I try to remove it by hand? Should I let it go or will it be a big nuisance? Thanks again

I'd remove it by hand. If you dont, in my experience I've had a hard time getting rid of it.
