HOB Skimmer into media reactor?

Hello,

Just wondering if this is possible. I want to take the output from a HOB Skimmer and feed it into a carbo/gfo reactor, is this possible? and has anyone done this?

It won't work. If you have any back pressure on the outlet of the skimmer it will negatively effect its function. You could do it passively though where the output falls into a media basket.
