Hole in cabbage coral

I bought this cabbage corals about a week ago. It looked good and I didn't see any issues with it. Now I see a small round hole in the middle of the coral. What could be causing this?

Could be asexual reproduction by lateral fission.
An image under white lighting would be off assist.

my leathers have done that a few times on their own, either heals or they become 2
