Holes on Aussie Lord Stem?

I had to move my Aussie Lord which bothered him and allowed him to shrink up for a bit. But I noticed these white circles, like holes on the stem under the body. Any idea what these are? They’re very evenly spaced out amongst each other. I’ve only had it for about two weeks.

Those are worms, I think they are called spirorbid (sp?).
They are harmless filter feeders, but they can multiply to large numbers in newer tanks. You can leave them, or scrape them off if you like.

+1 on spirorbid worms. they can get kind of annoying since they infest the tank, but I don't think they do any actual harm besides clog stuff up

Thanks for the replies, I think I’ll scrape off what I can tomorrow just to keep minimizing these guys since tank is still new. I’ve just looked up some spiro infestations on new tanks and they can get wild.
