I'm cooking away this morning and have a little down time right now. It got me wondering, what a must for every holiday dinner for you? Is it something traditional or something crazy. For me it's a deep fried turkey and my grandmother's recipes for lasagna and meatballs

We always have turkey for Thanksgiving, ham for Christmas and corned beef for New Years. The sides may change, but the meat has stayed the same for the past 34 years.

I always make pies. Outa necessity I learned how to bake pies when I was younger (I have a world class sweet tooth). Woke up this morning and started two different favorites at 5:00 am... Pumpkin and Lemon Meringue. Had to get out of th way of my wife preparing the prime rib, scalloped potatoes, mushrooms, shrimp cocktail ;) B22A8DC0-957A-4E0C-B2A9-E32A21F5A44C.jpeg

Now that’s a holiday

Fried Turkey & pumpkin pie with whip cream. This yrs a little rough so no cooking yet. My folks have the flu and I'm quarantined to the bedroom with 100-101f fever. It sucks but as long as the wife & kids stay healthy that's all that matters

Think of it this way. If ur in bedroom sick chances are they won’t bother you. Wish I could hide in my room
