I just got rid of a piece the size of a small dinner plate for free as it is a very fast grower and stings anything around it with its sweepers so I say unless you can put in an area where it will grow and not be close to anything then go for it! It you can't control the area it's going in (like a rock at the bottom of the tank by itself in the sandbed) then it would be your choice but mine would be no way!

Mine is a quick cash piece that sits at the bottom of my tank. I sell a big chunk every few months to purchased small needed items.

I got rid of it because it started stinging everything in its path in my tank and was out growing all sps around it so it had to go as 6-8" across is a lot of sps real estate for me to put something else there! :) Bottom of the tank I might have kept it and just occasionally broke piece's off to keep it at bay. LOL

Oh I totally understand the stinging point it took a good piece off a very expensive chalice I had a good distance away because it didn't want neighbors. That's why it's at the bottom to the side by itself haha.

Yes and you are lucky if you are able to sell it as here in Atlanta everyone has it and no one wants anymore of it! Haha Tried to sell it for cheap then ended up giving it to a local fish store just so I didn't have to kill it as I hate doing that to anything!
