At the LFS today and they sold me this Holy Grail Torch at a rescue price.

What dip(s) would you recommend I use to help it. He said it was a bad cut by an employee. Recommended an iodine dip, but I can’t put my hands on mine and need to order some.

What is best to use, to help it heal? Can I just use generic iodine from the pharmacy?

Thanks for any help!
-Chris

Iodine from the pharmacy is fine. Add a few drops to a few cups of tank water and dip for 15 minutes.

For torches and Euphyllia that are not doing well, Restor dips can be life saving. It’s going to be an uphill battle and low flow, low lighting would be a good idea for a couple of weeks.

What was the rescue price
Not going to say. Sure there are people on here who know me and would know the LFS. Not fair to the vendor since it was a special deal.

Also, unfortunately, it bjd’d on me and had to be tossed.

Sorry. I guess

Hopefully it was free.
Right I don't see it surviving tbh looks like a couple days from bjd feel like only chance a torch like this has any chance of surviving is with a KFC dip over serval days knew it was a goner when he mentioned iodine
