I was at the store and I decided to get a few things to make some food. Total cost was around $9 for shrimp, scallop(only used a small portion of total), squid and octopus and a small piece of flounder fish. Also about half of what is pictured of the mysis I had left.

I tried to get a meaty chop in my bullet blender after having chopped the items in a chunky fashion. I ended up seeing it was going to a liquified mass. So I cut it off about half way through the blend and just spread it on a pan with wax paper liner. Froze it.

Now frozen, I just shave off pieces about 1/16" wide and chop enough for the week and keep in the freezer. I'll try to add a pic of that later.

The fish love it. The jawfish really likes the meaty chunks. The anthias, Doty back, wrasse like very small pieces. Clowns like the medium size pieces. They really clean it up.

Because I got a fine grind of a good portion of it, the coral seem to feed on it well too.

Pretty happy overall. My main reason was to add some hopefully good bacteria to the diet.

One thing I wish I would have done - add garlic.

Nice DIY on the fish food

If you have a grinder, that works best;)
