Hi folks!
If you read some of my other posts, I've been using canister filters with my tanks. Haven't had a problem with them yet. However, there were just too many things inside my 54G DT that I decided to switch to a sump. So, I spent the weekend installing a sump and I must say that I'm pretty proud of myself! I got it up and running and for some reason, I am fascinated with the way it works! (Simple minds, simple pleasures :D)

And I'm sure the fish are happy not having to navigate around the heater, pump/tubes for the refugium, pump/tubes for the protein skimmer, and UV sterilizer.

I guess this means I'm a full-fledged reefer!

Just patting myself on the back for a job well done
