Took advantage of @Bulk Reef Supply awesome sale and picked up a new ati non dimmable 4 bulb t5 for my 75 g build (along with lots of other goodies including the 2016 apex, so exciting).
Got a few bulbs 2- B+, 2-C+ and a couple of different singles to try out. I did read a few articles on the bulbs, orientation in the fixture, fan speed etc and the only thing not clear is “break in”
Are the bulbs ready to use right out of the box or is there a 50 hr constant run break in period? Can I just run like nowmal 8 on during the day and know they won’t be at peak performance until 50 hrs? Or is that just for dimmable fixtures? Mine is just plug and play no dimming.
