Please help, what exactly are these & what action should I take?
These started as a straggler popping out of a zoa patch and have spread over tank since. I thought they were a harmless diff species of zoa and let them go, but now realize they are probably the cause of my corals dying off. Are these polythoa? Poisonous to tank? To me?Can I use aptasia x on them?
Thanx!

Can you remove the rock from the tank?
I can remove the rock that has the majority on it, but they all have some. essentially, I can remove any and all rock if needed since I have no nice coral left that are attached any. Remaking frogspawn is moveable. I would show a full pic, but its too painful & embarassing.

Update: Thanks! I tried that method and got most off and I've had decent success with aptasia x on the rest... A few keep popping up but keeps getting less and less.
MY NEW QUESTION IS... I'm switching to new tank...should I start fresh with all new live rock... or use what I have had for 3 years now? And what's this purple mass?

Dang, I would have paid to have a rock that was covered shipped to me. Been wanting to do a 5g AIO with a ton of Majanos for a super easy to keep office what the heck tank lol.
