Hey guys this may be a stupid question but I’ll give it a go.
I have a15 gallon tank that has 2 clown fish and anemone.
My clown seems to be happy but not hosting the nem
I tried couple of tricks nothing worked so far .
I heard if I’ll make the clowns scared by adding a bigger fish they will go for the nem.
Since I don’t have room for another fish I was thinking about trying with that robot fish ( photo attached)
Is that a stupid idea?

Yeah. That thing would for sure scare them. Kind of scares me. Just give it time. It’s up to them ultimately. Hopefully they do the thing. I have read all sorts of tricks people do. Maybe target feeding with a turkey blaster or similar the nem or near it will get them interested in interacting. Good luck.🤞

They will in time or never will. My clowns were content having the return nozzle in the upper back corner host them for the first year until they moved into my duncan below it that has been hosting them for over two years.

A cheaper way is just getting a photo of another fish and taping it onto your tank. Some have even gone so far as paying a video of fish on their ipad and leaning it against the tank.

Show it to them through the glass for a 15 minutes for several days. It worked with mine.

I've tried everything include the video for days, nothing worked for my clowns. I've given up and let them be :)

I have three clowns, the pair is hosting a nem, Goni and Duncan. the other one (who is in a separate tank) is hosting a piece of green hair algae, suffice it to say, clowns are stupid and will do what they want. just give them a bit.
