I forgot to mention that I have had him on a mixed diet of hardshell half clams, and silversides, but he also eats all of the New Life Spectrum Thera-A XL Sinking pellets as well. He also uses the live rock to shave down his teeth, and he absolutely crushes the half clams into pieces, it is actually pretty cool to watch and hear.

See him eating here: skip to around 15:18 or so.

Ooh my god. What a big boy!! Wish i was closer.
Yeah, and for whatever reason, he seems to be in quite a growth spurt right now. In the last few months, even my wife has made comments on his growth. I just love that he shaves his beak down himself. Watching him crush the live rock is amazing.

I have a large heavy-duty rolling bin and a truck, so I can help with transport in the larger Houston area.

Any chance you can find a LFS willing to ship Airport to airport?

Delta delivered him to me here in Houston to Hobby airport. That would have to be a very large box, and I would need to put oxygen in it, and he would have to fly as a pet in an air-controlled cabin. I will reach out to the guy that used to deal with that for me.
