First saltwater build (I only have freshwater tanks right now). Designed this super simple sump, mostly to hide equipment. Sump dimensions are 18” x 10” x 12” tall, and will be filled with 9” of water. Skimmer will be the Tunze Comline 9004 DC, which I believe needs to be submerged in about 9” of water, hence the baffle heights.

Display tank is an ADA 60P, about 17 gallons, with an Eshopps Prodigy M overflow. Planning to do a Herbie overflow.

Just wanted to know if this is a decent enough design before I get it custom made. What do you guys think?

No need for baffles in that system.
I ran my 120 and several others with no baffles. They really are only needed if you run a fuge to keep it seperate.
My 120 had a skimmer, carx, and was the easiest sump to work in due to being baffle free.

That’s a perfect design! Simple and works best in my experience.. just make sure your pumps and skimmer fit in the compartments you want.
Awesome, thank you so much. I’ve gone ahead and commissioned the build!
