How about yellow/orange filters on the glass?

Maybe this is a crazy idea, but what about making the low iron/starfire/superclear glass tanks with a 15K or 20K filter glass pane attached to all exteriors of the glass, so that the blue bleed is reduced, without the need for Orphek lenses on your phone or camera?

Orange tint on Display tank

I’m looking to buy some type of orange filter to place on my tank for a constant Pop vs. only when taking pictures. I don’t know how to shop for this type of filter so I’m hoping someone could chime in. Here is a link to Orphek’s lens filters and it says 15k Lens. Which I can’t find something...

That's using a roll on plastic tint film. I'm thinking glass on glass.

High quality glass like the Orphek lenses adhered directly onto the glass (or fused? part of the glass? I dunno) would be kind of cool. Sounds like something @Joe Glass Cages would pioneer?? Wait, should I be patenting this low iron superclear meteorfire glass 15K/20K filter custom tank?

For photography, I like the way the camera captures 15K + 20K filters the most:

20K + 15K:

But for the eye, I like the 20K only filter more than the 15K filter. But one thing for sure, no one likes orange walls!

Who's going to make the first all glass 15K/20K filter tank!?

I prefer the blue look when looking at the tank. When I'm taking pictures, a filter or white balance adjustment is useful for the picture looking like it does in my tank, but I've looked at the tank through orange glasses and didn't like it. It's always going to be a personal choice. I could see tank manufacturers offering it but I don't think I'd purchase one.

Well… I just received my Orange Car Window Tint and… my tank is orange. So is my floor, walls, kids, shadows etc…
The only tint I found that’s within my tanks specs is only 265.00 for a 40” x 25’ roll of 85b gel photo filter. I guess I could make ***** filter len’s to make up for the extra 20’ Lol

As much as it’s worth every penny in my head, I still can’t see myself pulling the trigger for that amount. I’d “try it” for about 150.00 tho
