How can I get my signature links to work?

I feel stupid for asking. They work fine in the signature preview but in my actual posts the URL information drops out. What am I missing?

Ah. That makes sense. I was driving myself crazy trying to figure out the problem!

I was wondering what was going on and this answered the question. It's a shame you have to pay just to link to your own tank thread but it's not the end of the world.
