I think you’re going to destabilize a really nice tank.
Leave what you have and “add” some Carib-sea purple life branches to add some shape.

If you can remove some rocks, thats ok.

Start on the left, pull (if you can) a rock and add some branches. Then let that stabilize.

Month later, repeat.

yea.
i could just do part of the rockwork. no breaking or anything. i have some other ideas that might be very cool.

like a little elevated sand pit/island in the rock for my lta.

ether way i am still gunna move some rocks. i need to find my missing bta and get one of the powerheads out.
i trapped a powerhead in a rock and need to clean it.

nvm on the sand idea apperently it blows everywhere. and my sand alrety blows everywhere.

This little weird looking ledge is what I wanna fix... I just really don't like that specific part.
Any way I could make that more open without tearing the tank up?

you could just try spreading your rock out more to the left. Stack it a little differently to create a cave or tunnel there and some more height on the left with some more tunnels and or caves.
Its pretty hard to tell someone how to scape their rock without actually being there or having an exact knowledge of the rock pieces and sizes of everything.

Water superglue and aragonite sand.

I personally have used this technique on wet, dripping rock straight out of the tank.
If done quickly or spray tank water on them periodically, you will not lose the bacteria in the rock that makes them "live".

You will however need to do it in a well ventilated area.

If you want to do it in “secret” per se, you could buy black construction paper or poster board and tell her you’re trying to combat an algae issue and once it’s fixed you’ll remove the paper. Then just go to town on re-aquascaping and remove the paper to surprise her when it’s done

Ooo. That is a good idea. I could tell her I'm going to scrub the rocks of the gha.

Welp my glass isn't shatterd.
I decided to just move a few around.
It turned out pretty good.

I think I got the best possable reaction from my mother.
She looked at it and then said "I like the cave". Then she proceeded to tackle me and tickle me while saying "you said don't move your rocks, it'll make it unstable... you couldn't move your rocks mom." Over and over.

That’s so sweet and precious. You made my day.

The scape looks drastically better!
