Why would you use it underwater??
Electricity and salt water so not mix!
Do not cut under water!

You must pull the colony out and cut.
Cut over a bucket of water to catch the frags is all.
The extension wand is a flexible metal shaft that simply extends the drive head of the unit. And I only use battery Dremels.

You didn't mention battery powered or a flexible shaft. See where people can be confused?
Just trying to keep people from getting zapped.
And besides, out of the tank is easier and safer.

Sure is, unless you are cutting back colonies basketball sized colonies that are connected to large rock structures, like in my 500 gallon tank.
